Burry Man 2
I stumbled across this weblog. I am linking to it to show you the photos of the Burry Man. She explains the Burry Man a lot better than I bothered to. So, if you have time/inclination, you may wish to read it too.
ps. the cloth around his waist is the Lion Rampant, the Royal Standard of Scotland. Traditionally, the Royal Standard should only be used by Her Majesty the Queen in her capacity as Queen of Scots. However, this flag tends to be used as a second national flag.

We've just watched the Burry Man being interviewed at the Queensferry Fair website. Wonderful. Thanks for that. Not hard to see where Midsomer gets it's plotlines from. Village life. Marvellous.
Yes, Village Life. It's a weird one. I was impressed by the lovely clear photos from that weblog. The Queensferry Fair website could do with getting a few decent ones...
